While a lot of people may assume that the overflow of designers in today’s digital landscape would make designing easier / faster, I think the opposite has taken effect; “real” design has been pushed to the back seat and many are instead obssessed with creating arresting visuals without any real purpose and then labeling them as “designs” (ie eye candy).
